Angelo Caputo's Fresh Markets - Bloomingdale: A Premier Destination for Fresh Groceries and Artisan Treats

This place really has a lot of awesome food and it brings me back to my childhood and some great memories with all those wonderful Italian dishes that I grew up with and also I like coming here because the prices are very reasonable. The store is always super clean and most of the staff is pretty friendly and I definitely feel it's nice to see a smiling face so stop by and get some of those wonderful old school Italian favorites and also don't forget to check out some of the weekly specials because the deals are unbelievable

I recently had the opportunity to shop at Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Market, and overall, it was a very positive grocery shopping experience. The store is clean, well-organized, and offers a pleasant and welcoming environment for customers. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the layout and the wide range of grocery items available across different sections. One of the standout areas was the fresh produce section. The market offers a diverse selection of vegetables—everything from everyday essentials like tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, and carrots to specialty greens, herbs, and seasonal items. The freshness and quality of the produce were excellent. However, I did notice that the quantity of some vegetables was not quite sufficient, with certain popular items being low in stock or temporarily unavailable. This might be due to high customer demand or timing of restocks, but it’s something to consider for regular shoppers. Beyond produce, Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Market has a solid selection of grocery items including dairy, snacks, pantry staples, international foods, and beverages. I was particularly impressed by the seafood section, which featured a clean and well-displayed variety of fresh fish, shrimp, and shellfish. The meat department was equally well-stocked and fresh. Their bakery is another highlight, offering a delicious assortment of fresh bread, cakes, and pastries. Customer service was great—staff members were friendly, professional, and quick to assist when needed. Overall, Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Market is a wonderful destination for grocery shopping. With just a bit more consistency in the quantity of certain produce items, this store could easily become a top-tier choice for all your grocery and fresh food needs.

They have great fresh whole chickens! They also have great macaroni pasta salad. As for the rest of the store, I will update the post if I get more from here.

Angelo Caputos' is my must to go store. Fruits and Vegetables are always fresh. The remodel of the store was smart thing to do.

They have a great selection. I usually buy on sale so if you watch the ads, you can get more than competitive prices on standard items. What I really like is their prepared food. Not everything but most things. The good: they have these jumbo meatballs 2 for $6. I buy them regularly. Their chili con carne is good. Love their cheese ravioli with meat sauce. They sell a take and bake pizza that is very good. Huge for $12.99. Worth every penny. The bad: Their turkey dinner for 2. It really is ok but the turkey is a few thick slices of lunch meat turkey. Not actual cooked turkey. Vegan tomato bisque was kind of watery.

My shopping experience was quite pleasant. It has a very good variety of items & fresh fruit & veggies. Great customer service and nicely maintained store.

The produce here is always beautiful, and the prices are fair. It doesn't have EVERYTHING (cleaning supplies, beauty, toiletries, no pharmacy), but its great for your kitchen. Love love love. The take and bake meals are great!!

I shop @ the Lake Street location every week. The Deli Department is the best I have ever been to. The people behind the counter especially Michael are fantastic. Michael always seems to know what I want before I do. The professional and thoughtful way they do business. Kudos to Caputos and the fine people that work there and care. Stop by the Deli Counter and see Michael, he is the best !!
